Woah! You try taking photographs of candles!
Finally, due to requests, we are able to offer handmade beeswax candles.
Alison, our candlemaker, lives just a few doors down the road from us and makes her candles from locally-sourced beeswax.
A few points to note:
-
These candles are handmade from a natural material and will never be identical. The measurements we give should be treated as a guide - the exact size will depend on the thickness of the individual sheets of beeswax and how tightly they can be rolled. The burning times are also a guide as these will vary not only according to the wax and tightness but also the temperature and humidity and any draughts where you burn them.
-
Similarly the colours will vary. Some beeswax is a deep yellow while some is paler - it depends on the weather and what kind of pollen the bees have been able to find. This is most obvious in the natural, undyed candles but it also affects the end result of the coloured candles.
-
We can't offer next-day delivery. Alison works 9-5 at her day job so if you place an order during the day the soonest she will see it is when she gets home. If she has your requirements in stock we can probably post them the next day, if she has to make the candles it will take a day or two before we can send them but we will keep you advised.

Candle Colours:
We usually have candles in:
-
Natural - this will vary according to what the bees produce!
-
Ivory - not quite white because you can'y make beeswax pure white
-
Black
-
Green
-
Blue
-
Red - this is a kind of burgundy red rather than bright red
-
Pink
If you would like other colours please ask. We can do most colours but they won't be in stock and so might take a few days to produce.
